Abstract

This paper interrogates the recurring onslaught of Fulani Herdsmen in many parts Nigeria. The main objective is to underline the need for peace, and given the times, the imperatives of eternal vigilance. The paper is anchored in the theory of just war as frame of analysis. For the generation of necessary data, the paper took advantage of various documentary sources to focus on and explore why and how the onslaught should be seen and addressed. The paper has obvious implications for the individual in society, public policy and the Nigerian situation.
