Unizik Journal of Gender Research

Unizik Journal of Gender Research (UJGR) is an annual scholarly blind peer reviewed Journal of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University that publishes original articles (theoretical and Empirical) that address national and global issues that relates to Gender from disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. This Volume will accept all forms of articles on gender studies related to women, economy and sustainable development, scholarly review of masculinities and feminism theories, participation in politics, sexual identities, mass communication and gender, women’s movements, violence against women, spousal violence, men’s studies, and cross-cultural issues in gender discourse.

Special consideration will be given to articles that have strong Afrocentric perspective on Gender discourse.

Guidelines for Submission

Manuscripts for submission are to be written in English (UK) language with 12-point Times New Roman font in Microsoft Word document (preferred) and a maximum word-length of 7,000 including abstract of 250 words limit, references, tables and figures.

Every manuscript should be double-spaced throughout with at least 1 inch margin on all sides of an A4 paper.
