This is because adequate use of ICT serves as a catalyst to an effective and efficient service delivery, quick response, accountability and transparency. Therefore, this paper is set to look at e-governance and good governance in Nigeria. The specific objectives are to show the relevance of e-governance to the actualization of good governance by looking at the link between them and to identify suitable strategies for an effective application of e-governance for realization of good governance in Nigeria. The theory of technological determinism was adopted as framework for analysis. The methodology of this paper is qualitative in nature. Data were collected through secondary sources and the analysis was also done qualitatively with case study and logical reasoning. Based on this, this paper argued that that e-governance is very essential for realization of good governance in Nigeria because e-governance ensures accountability; effective and efficient service delivery; reduces corruption; fights against security threat.
