This mechanism ensures that certain processes are taken by public officials to ensure that things are done properly, and as when they are supposed. The process was also adopted to ensure that the gap between role expectations and role behaviour of public servant are narrowed. This paper examines the extent to which stress could be a function of non-normative behaviour, viz non adherence to the Due Process Mechanism and its relationship with Job satisfaction.
